Synopsis
A 6-episode miniseries. "Cuidarnos" (Taking Care of Ourselves), based on the 6Cs and many real stories, will allow us to experience firsthand the culture of care in our animal facilities.
Episode 1 - Communication
Subtitled in several languages, this first episode explores how Communication, one of the 6Cs of the Culture of Care, connects the people who make animal welfare possible. Listening, sharing information, and speaking with confidence allow us to anticipate problems, work as a team, and practice a more responsible and humane science.
Episode 2 - Competence
Competence is also a form of care. In this second episode of CARING FOR OURSELVES, we accompany Sofía on her arrival at the animal facility and discover how initial training, practice, and team supervision are essential to ensuring the animals' well-being. Through everyday situations, we'll see that learning doesn't end with a course: the continuous updating of knowledge and skills allows us to work more confidently, incorporate improvements, and strengthen the Culture of Care.
Episode 3 - Commitment
In this episode of the series TAKING CARE OF OURSELVES, the Director of the Research Center, Rafael, meets with Luis to promote the Culture of Care, moving it from being just a program of the animal facility to becoming part of the Center's values.
Through everyday conversations with the team (Cris, Pau, Nuno, Lola and Sofía), it is shown how the institutional commitment translates into concrete actions; a follow-up plan, the participation of all staff and the link with the BINAEX Culture of Care Certification.
The central message is clear: true commitment originates from Management, is built by everyone, and is maintained over time through daily decisions and practices.
