Culture of Care
practical and applied.

Hernán Serna and Juan Manuel Baamonde

Who we are

Some tastes are acquired over time, while others are innate. Hernán , from Colombia, developed a respectable, though scientifically difficult to justify, fondness for beer over the years. Juan , from Argentina, on the other hand, was born with a much deeper conviction: milanesa. This isn't an acquired taste, but practically a constitutional right.

And so, between a beer and a milanesa, a combination as improbable as it was fertile appeared; a Colombian and an Argentinian trying to agree to create this podcast of the culture of care for the world of biomedical research.

It took patience. A lot of patience. Because working with an Argentinian is one thing, but working with Juan the Argentinian is quite another. That's where the real experimental test comes in: how long can a Colombian hear "Hey, but, and well..." before needing a beer? We still don't know. The study continues and will surely include a retrospective evaluation.
