More than just a procedure, a NIDO is a tool for a Culture of Care, as it integrates animal welfare, human well-being, scientific quality, biosecurity, and continuous improvement.

In this NIDO (Nest), we will discover how close and responsible communication can help bring science closer to people, build trust, and demonstrate the institution's commitment to animal and human well-being. Because communicating with the community is also a form of care.
NIDO-010 – Competency Plan
A true Culture of Care requires well-prepared, confident, and self-assured individuals to perform their work. In this NEST, you will discover how to identify, develop, and maintain the necessary skills for each role, combining technical knowledge with soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and the ability to ask for help. Because being competent is not just about knowing how to perform a task; it's also about knowing when to act, when to ask questions, and how to provide the best possible care.
